Drinks at Kilburn's Ironworks

It's always great when you find a new haunt to chill out in with your friends and our new obsession this spring has been a recently opened bar, located in the heart of Kilburn - the Ironworks

Run by some of the friendliest staff in the North West (even the bouncers will flash you a grin), the Ironworks is my new favourite place for a chilled out pint. Being an avid cider lover, I am always on the look out for new ones to try and their Hallets Welsh Cider at £4.60 definitely did not disappoint - even though it may be on the pricey side. They also have (I'm told by my beer enthusiast pals), great craft beer, with plenty of selection, as well as cocktails, so there is something for everyone.

The décor in the place is also pretty impressive, with exposed brick walls and beams, hard wood tables and even cart tracks subtly worked into the floorboards. I'm yet to sample the food menu, but I have heard no complaints from those who have - which is always good sign!

As it's not been open long, people are still discovering it, so you won't have to worry about fighting for a table inside or outside on the deck and you won't find yourself having to queue for hours for a drink, which is one of the main things I really love about this bar.

So if you're looking for somewhere new to drink with friends, in the sun or tucked away in a cosy corner table, the Ironworks should be at the top of your to do list.
